Silent LoversI look at you, like
a lover from a different
life time,
But you were never mine.

And all the secrets
we kept away,
that were hidden for
days, are now nothing
more,
but treasured memories.

Even when I closed
my eyes, and couldn't make
a sound,
you were still around.

Even through the silence,
you knew what to say.

It was magical, just
you and me.

Breaking ApartLets pretend that I'm
not so happy after all.
That all the wall's around
me are beginning to fall.

What would you say?

Would we fake our grins
and laugh at the flaws,
or close our eyes and
let the tears fall?

Let me hold you close,
remind you that I love
you the most, extend my
hands and slide to the ground,
where we try not to make a sound.

I love this world that
we live in,
We wear fake skins just
to fit in.

Maybe some day we won't
all just pretend,
realize that everything is
only false pretensions,

Fall asleep, and never wake
again.

WanderingWell their just words,
not knives, they won't
make you bleed,
to deeply.

Let's get on the carousel,
and bring our wishes home.
Take'em all, and leave
a note.

Now will you do me a
favor?
Pretend to listen.
Hold me closely, and
watch my eyes glisten.

Did you hear what I
just said?
Or will I have to
repeat instead.

It won't matter in
the end.

We were never
meant to be.

Just wandering souls
for eternity.

BeforeThe rain pours down upon
my view,
making me wish for a better
you.

Even if the stars aren't shining brightly like
before, I still wish while I sit on the floor,
that maybe everything will be like before.

But this winter is too cold to share
a story,
in this midnight there is no
glory.

Kiss me like fool,
make me see that you are
real.

And maybe I will see the world
a little differently.

Go mad, become blind, live life
a little fully.

Maybe even break the curse,
from inside, and bring
some magic
back
to
Life.

SickI cough up the taste
of you, knowing that your
gone.
It doesn't matter in the
end, I was always lost.

Please hold my hand, and
lead me astray.
Help me remember my
old ways.

When we're over, don't
look back. Don't hold on.

But realize we were only
young.

Love SpellThe touch,
the rush,
of us two.

All these thoughts,
brought me back
to you.

The smell,
the taste,
only fractions allowed.

Now kiss me,
drown me, in
your love spell.

Puzzle PiecesI don't want to be
a puzzle piece
that just fits right inside.

I don't want to be
a difficult piece
you make fit by pounding on.

What I want to be
is that one piece
that everyone misplaces.

That lone piece that's lost
under the couch
or between the cushions.

That strange piece that
everyone hates when lost,
but adores when found.

That simple piece that
everyone wants
and everyone searches for.

That perfect piece that,
when found,
completes the puzzle perfectly.

That independent piece that
can easily fit,
but doesn't want or need to.

That free piece that
will appear to you
only when it's fully ready.

That one piece that
will change ev

BotherIt's not a game.
She's gone away,
and no one even bothered to say,

"Will you ever return?"
When will they learn?
But no one bothered to say it to her.

I left on that day,
I went my own way,
but no one even bothered to say,

"I really love you."
I don't think it's true,
but I'd still say "I love you, too."

We all wonder why
she left us dry,
but we still didn't bother to say goodbye.

And neither did she,
not even to me.
At the very least, now, she's finally free.

I left them alone,
how can I atone?
Would I have stayed there, had I then known?

I can certainly tell
that all of us fell
when I didn't even bother to bid them farewell.

AbandonedThe walls are caving
in, there is no solution.

You gave your whole heart
and soul, now your ice cold.

Told me you would love me
forever, a child of your own.

But you left me lost and
alone.

There is no where to go,
everywhere I look is another
clone.

Was it real? You has me
so fooled, now I wonder what's
next after the word
'hello.'

With paranoia creeping in,
its making a home of its
own.

But now I have learned
my lesson.
You were never my

Own.

ReminderI was sitting by myself on the cement, looking up at the stars.

Their all so pretty....the way they shine, I always wonder if they have a thought process, because some nights, they seem as if they want to hide, and just fade away into the sky.
But strangely, when I need to find that one star, that was hidden for nights at a time,
it would appear, as if it heard me calling its name.

And as I looked up upon the star, I just knew that everything would be fine.

When the time was right, it would disappear, and I would just go on with my life, and look at all the other stars, still thinking about that one.

It was different from the

Fleeting Memories of a Dream Long PastFor thirty-three years, it was ours,
and then, to us,
it met its end.

It is no longer ours, and that feeling...
That feeling is the strangest thing.
We cannot explore the mysteries of its land,
or walk across the old white bridge.

It is gone.

So many memories.
Falling into the pond,
feeding the fish with the leftover stale bread,
learning to tie my shoes in the little gazebo,
falling down the steep hill,
serving hors d'oeuvres,
throwing parsley on the dishes for all the people to eat.

I remember just how to set up the tables:
two forks on the left, a knife and a spoon right.
Glasses, and a cloth napkin inside.
Five saucers and coffee cups

CrowsNothing's changed, we're still alone and while
crows fly high, we stand our ground.
The sky is black and the door is open,
but can we choose to make it through?

Save your strength for now,
we'll be fine, my love, just wait
And I know that's what you hate,

But soon we'll be inside,
the room is lit and we won't say goodbye
to this life we've made.

Pull together, don't be scared
Though the night is dark as the wind grows strong
The bond we have is all we'll need to
fly away from this wretched place.

Spread your wings for now,
imagine the skies
and so, soon we will rise.

In a world where humans race,
all power-hungry and selfish,
we have mad

ImaginationAn imagination is like a diary in your brain
So secret are the entries they must be kept inside
They are impossible dreams floating amiss, wondering: why
The greatest desires are thought up by the quill that is your imagination
And its ink is conjured from your heart
So sweet are the melodies it forms, so quaint the scenes it creates
Like a mystical meadow that will never be reached
Re-living this plan every chance of daydream
Your eyes sparkle as the river of life that makes one live forever
And another entry is written, a map for your journey
A silhouetted plan to start your endeavor

200 Plastic StrawsTwo-hundred plastic straws
are scattered on my floor.
They haven't moved an inch
from where I dropped them there before.

A multi-colored frenzy
is dancing on my tiles.
Ghosts long past
come flying back
to stay there for a while.

The straws slipped through my fingers
and so, they all tapped down
like the movement of a second hand,
eternity, an hour.

They fell away, as does the past,
so pick up every piece.
Throw it away or use it well,
or its dance will never cease.

Two hundred plastic straws,
or at least, that's how it was.
Now a hundred ninety-nine lay there,
a pink one in my glass.

A Poetic MessThere's nothing to do.
How about writing haiku?
Poetry is fun.

It's so tiresome, though...
Five, seven, five syllables?
Why those three numbers?

I don't like haiku anymore,
so how about ABCB?
That's a good rhythm, I suppose,
it's easy to write and read.

ABCB gets old so quick,
ABAB is more my style.
I think these rhymes are making me sick,
but, I'll still rhyme for a while.

What rhythm to use?
Oh, perfect, look what I've done.
I'm back to haiku.

Poetry just isn't my thing,
I can't decide what rhythm to stick to.
What's wrong with me? What should I do?
ABBB? Well, I guess that's new...

Screw these stupid rhymes,
I'm doing free verse.

Remnants of UsNothing but the hate,
nothing but the proud,
to remind me,
of what I once had.

The feelings so intense,
the memories so vivid,
the sadness, it was only provoked,

but all I feel is pain.

Don't promise me anything,
just never share your face
again.

SaviorI'm sorry I'm brainwashed,
and only bring you pain.
And I'm sorry I will never
talk to you again.

But these scars you see,
are to much to hide.
I'm bleeding inside,
only wandering
wishing, for a savior of
some kind.

But for now, this will do.
All these thoughts of you.
